Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring.

Must have: Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients. Chest tube management, epidurals.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients. Critical drips, epidurals, PCA.

Floating Area(s): ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – Navy or white, can mix or match

Weekends and On call: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts
